Client Stories

Real people. Real results.

★★★★★
We're both in our late 60s and the idea of juggling consulate appointments, AIMA, and Portuguese paperwork from another continent was overwhelming. The Plus package meant we signed a power of attorney and the team represented us for everything — we didn't have to navigate a single government office ourselves.

★★★★★
We'd already used Visas.pt for our visa and figured we could handle NIF and the bank account ourselves to save a bit — but with two young kids and a house move happening at the same time, we upgraded to the Plus package halfway through. Best decision. They just took it off our plate entirely.

★★★★★
As a founder, my time is the most expensive thing I have, so paying more for the Plus package to have everything handled directly was an easy call. Everything was managed end-to-end. The only reason it's not five stars is that I'd have liked slightly more frequent status updates during the AIMA waiting period — though a quick message always got a same-day reply.

FAQ

Questions about our Complete Visa Assistance PLUS

The Complete Visa Package Plus (€2,810) includes unlimited immigration lawyer consultations, NIF number, Portuguese bank account support, full document preparation and review, consulate application support, AIMA residence permit assistance, Power of Attorney representation, a dedicated tax consultation, our property finder service, a lawyer who files and accompanies you to your AIMA appointment, and our Portuguese language course to A2 level.

Our package covers every major Portugal residency visa: the D7 Passive Income Visa, D8 Digital Nomad Visa, D2 Entrepreneur Visa, D3 Highly Qualified Activity Visa, D6 Family Reunification, Startup Visa, and Golden Visa. During your consultation we confirm the right route for your income, nationality, and family situation.

Plan for 4–8 months in total. Document preparation takes 4–8 weeks, consulate processing typically 2–4 months depending on your country, and the AIMA residence card a further 2–4 months after arrival. We manage the entire timeline, book appointments, and chase delays so nothing stalls your application.

Because every application is prepared and reviewed by qualified Portuguese immigration lawyers before submission, our approval rate is extremely high — rejections are rare. If a case is weak, we tell you before you pay for a full application. In the rare event of refusal, we handle the appeal or alternative route at no extra legal fee for cases we prepared.

No. Your Portugal visa application starts at the Portuguese consulate in your home country, and our service is 100% remote — NIF, bank account, document preparation, and consulate coordination are all handled online. You only travel to Portugal after your visa is approved, for your AIMA residence permit appointment — where your lawyer files for you and accompanies you in person.

Yes. Your spouse, dependent children, and dependent parents can obtain Portuguese residency through family reunification. We prepare the family file alongside yours. The second adult receives 50% off our package fee and children 70% off. Note that additional subsistence funds are required per family member. Families are sometimes issued separate AIMA appointments in different locations. When this happens, we always try to amalgamate them into a single location — but if that isn't possible, our lawyer can join you for one appointment, not all of them.

Yes. Your case is handled by Portuguese immigration lawyers registered with the Ordem dos Advogados — not agents or middlemen. That means regulated professional responsibility, lawyer-client confidentiality, and genuine legal representation with the consulate and AIMA.
